SHAH ALAM: For the first time, popular reality talent show One In A Million 3 (OIAM3) has seen a male winner. He is New Boyz lead singer Shah Indrawan "Tomok" Ismail, 25, of Rembau, Negri Sembilan.
Tomok beat Sabahan Esther Chin, 21, who finished second, and Perlis-born Aweera Noriyissham, 19, to win the RM1 million prize in the contest's finals broadcast live on 8TV from Stadium Malawati here at 8.30pm yesterday.Tomok sang two songs -- Hanya Kau Yang Mampu by Aizat and Rindu Terhenti (a new song written by Tinta S and composed by Aubrey Suwito) -- impressing judges Paul Moss and Syafinaz Selamat.The final concert was hosted by actor Awal Ashaari and television personality Marion Caunter.It also saw performances by the previous season's winner, Ayu Damit, and rock group Bunkface.
